Synopsis

Following Yang Wen-li's capture of the Iserlohn Fortress, the Free Planets Alliance adopts a more aggressive military posture. Having penetrated Imperial territory and secured a strategically ideal beachhead, the Alliance is positioned to inflict meaningful harm on the Galactic Empire. Reinhard von Lohengramm, however, refuses to permit the Alliance to establish lasting gains; he remains committed to fulfilling his late friend Siegfried Kircheis' deepest desire—that Reinhard himself should bring the galaxy together. As large-scale battles unfold across the stars, Adrian Rubinsky, the opportunistic ruler of Fezzan, seeks to exploit the turmoil to advance his own ambitions, adding a layer of political maneuvering to the ongoing conflict.
