Synopsis

Juri Yukawa's plan to leave her parents' home collapses after a day of unsuccessful job interviews, leaving her dependent on a household that includes her working mother Nobuko, unemployed brother Tsubasa, laid-off father Takafumi, and single-parent sister Sanae, with little nephew Makoto as the family's remaining hope for the future. Their situation darkens when Makoto and Tsubasa are abducted by a shadowy group demanding a ransom of five million yen and giving only thirty minutes for payment. In response, Juri's grandfather reveals an occult ability: by offering blood to his mystical stone, he can transport participants into Stasis, a parallel layer of reality where time is halted for everyone except those who enter. Juri, Takafumi, and her grandfather use this ritual to pursue the kidnappers, but their attempt to recover Makoto is complicated when other unexpected individuals move freely within Stasis. Amid escalating conflict, a vast, enigmatic entity known as the Herald emerges, its purpose unclear and its presence amplifying the incomprehensible nature of the frozen world.
