Synopsis

Kirari Tsukishima is a 14-year-old girl whose primary passion is food, leaving little room in her life for idols or the entertainment industry and making her inexperienced in matters of romance. After rescuing a stranded turtle, she is thanked by Seiji, a kind and attractive boy who gives her a ticket to a SHIPS concert. At the venue, another boy tears up the ticket and warns Kirari that she should avoid Seiji because they belong to different social spheres. Determined, Kirari sneaks into the concert and discovers that both Seiji and the boy who destroyed her ticket, Hiroto, are members of the idol group SHIPS. Confronted with the reality that Seiji is a well-known performer while she is an ordinary middle schooler, Kirari resolves not to step back; motivated by her feelings and determination, she decides to pursue a career as an idol herself.
