Synopsis

Kusakabe Maron appears to be an ordinary high school girl, but she is the modern incarnation of Jeanne d'Arc. Assisted by an angel named Fin Fish, she assumes the nocturnal identity of the thief Jeanne to confine demons that inhabit pieces of art; these entities exploit the vulnerable emotions of their owners. After Maron seals a demon, the afflicted artwork vanishes, leaving her labeled as a criminal. Her double life grows more complicated when a new neighbor and classmate arrives and a rival thief calling himself Sinbad challenges her activities at night. Adding to the tension, Maron’s closest friend is the detective’s daughter, determined to apprehend the thief. Between the threat of exposure, the rival’s interference, and the burden of her mission, Maron must continue her work under constant pressure.
