Synopsis

At Shuchiin Academy, the top student council members maintain a tense, competitive routine. President Miyuki Shirogane and vice-president Kaguya Shinomiya engage in a persistent battle of wits, each attempting to maneuver the other into admitting romantic feelings while concealing their own. Kaguya navigates the expectations of a strict, affluent household, quietly softening her reserved persona as she develops closer ties with Shirogane and their peers. Treasurer Yuu Ishigami wrestles with an unrequited affection for upperclassman Tsubame Koyasu, whose support helps him find new self-assurance. Newcomer Miko Iino, committed to a rigid moral code, gradually forms a rapport with the rule-defying Ishigami as she reexamines her principles. As emotions deepen across the council, these relationships draw in their more unconventional friends, producing a series of humorous misunderstandings and escalating confrontations.
