Synopsis

The story opens at the start of a new school year: the current upperclassmen of the Light Music Club enter their final year, leaving Azusa Nakano as the sole second-year. Concerned that Azusa will be left alone when they graduate, the seniors attempt various ways to attract younger students—distributing flyers, inviting classmates into the clubroom, and putting on a performance at the welcome ceremony—but none of these efforts yield recruits. On her way to the clubroom, Azusa hears Yui Hirasawa suggest that the group can continue as five members and still have plenty of enjoyable experiences together, which leads Azusa to reconsider the urgency of recruitment. The series follows the club members through their ordinary high school days, blending practice sessions, casual antics, and preparations for performances as they aim to make their final year together memorable without revealing future outcomes.
