Synopsis

At the start of a new school term, Yui Hirasawa must choose a club and mistakenly signs up for the Light Music Club, thinking it involves simple instruments like castanets. Lacking musical skill, she returns intending to apologize and resign. The club, threatened with closure from too few members, tries various tactics—from offering food to goofing off during meetings—to persuade her to stay. Yui remains reluctant because she cannot play, but after the members perform a song for her, she feels a powerful spark of enthusiasm and decides to remain. Afterwards, the club’s routine consists largely of playful antics mixed with occasional practice as the members enjoy their time together and build bonds through shared musical efforts.
