Synopsis

After Naraku's defeat, Inuyasha and his companions begin to return to their daily lives, believing the long struggle has ended. However, remnants of Naraku act to revive danger: Kanna and Kagura arrange the release of a sealed demon who identifies herself as Kaguya, the fabled Princess of the Heavens. Strange occurrences — repeated full moons and a series of odd encounters tied to Kanna and Kagura — draw the allies back together. As they investigate, they discover that Kaguya possesses a fearsome ability and intends a catastrophic plan for the world. Putting aside personal pursuits, the group reunites to confront this new menace and prevent the calamity she threatens to unleash.
