Synopsis

After another setback caused by Naraku, Inuyasha, Kagome Higurashi, and their companions press on to recover the last Shikon Jewel fragments before Naraku can reassemble a corrupted jewel. Naraku pursues the shards with ruthless determination, eliminating any who obstruct him, including his own followers. The ongoing threat compels Sango and Miroku to confront whether their commitments to each other or to their responsibilities in battle must take precedence. Simultaneously, Inuyasha faces an inner struggle about where his affections truly lie—with Kikyou or with Kagome—while he waits to see if fate will decide instead. As the search intensifies, Inuyasha and his half‑brother Sesshoumaru are forced to address their longstanding enmity and cooperate toward a decisive clash with Naraku, a confrontation they must win to end his cruelty and evil.
