Synopsis

After a summer of informal duels with Gunma’s top street racers, Takumi Fujiwara is formally challenged by Ryousuke Takahashi, the leader of the Akagi Red Suns. Though Takumi was hesitant about racing as a pastime, the prospect of confronting the former "White Comet of Akagi" stirs his competitive spirit. To prepare for their encounter, Ryousuke intentionally reduces his car's performance, putting his reputation and racing future on the line. With the claim to being the fastest driver in Gunma at stake, the confrontation pits Takumi’s panda‑liveried Toyota AE86 against Ryousuke’s Mazda RX‑7 FC, as both drivers test their limits and principles on the mountain roads.
