Synopsis

Tenma Matsukaze arrives at Raimon Junior High and, driven by his passion for soccer, enrolls in the school's team, which once earned acclaim at the Football Frontier International a decade earlier. The school’s former enthusiasm for the sport has faded, largely because soccer across Japan is manipulated by a sinister organization called the Fifth Sector, which dictates match outcomes and saps teams' love for the game. Determined to reclaim the spirit of play, Tenma and his teammates set out to confront this oppressive force. They receive support from an allied group called the Resistance as they work to restore integrity and joy to youth soccer.
