Synopsis

On a chilly evening, the idol unit TRIGGER gathers at a bar to mark the anniversary of their formation. Flashing back two years, Ryuunosuke Tsunashi departs Okinawa for Tokyo seeking an idol career to resolve his father's debts. Awaiting a manager, he is instead taken under the wing of Gaku Yaotome, heir to Yaotome Productions, and they set out to find the enigmatic Ten Kujou, the group's eventual third member. Gaku initially questions Ten's role as center, but with Ryuunosuke bridging the gap, the trio forms a working bond and TRIGGER comes into being. Despite that start, they must still navigate numerous hurdles on the path to success. Meanwhile, their rivals IDOLiSH7 contend with their own concerns—little matters like planning free days and deeper disagreements that have persisted—requiring cooperation as they address these issues together.
