Synopsis

Hunters operate in diverse specialties—everything from seeking treasures to mastering culinary arts—and gain access to rare resources and intelligence that support their ambitions. This status is restricted to those who survive a perilous examination with a very low pass rate. Twelve-year-old Gon Freecss, driven by the desire to locate his absent father, sets off to attempt the Hunter Exam. During his journey he becomes allied with three others also preparing for the hazardous trial: Kurapika, motivated by vengeance; Leorio Paladiknight, who wishes to become a physician; and Killua Zoldyck, a mischievous peer of Gon’s age. Together, the four candidates face dangerous challenges as they strive to achieve their personal goals against overwhelming odds.
