Synopsis

Kyousuke, younger sibling of renowned Japanese forward Seisuke Kanou, has long been measured against his brother's rapid progress and now feels eclipsed by that legacy. At the start of his freshman year at Jouyou Akanegaoka High School, he announces he will quit soccer for good. Miki Tsujiwaki, captain of the girls' team, and Mori Kazuto, manager of the boys' squad, each see Kyousuke's latent skill and have personal reasons to encourage his comeback. Faced with a fresh chance to return to the pitch, Kyousuke must choose between holding to his resolve to abandon the sport or reigniting his devotion and striving to become the world's top striker.
