Synopsis

Set in 1983, the isolated village of Hinamizawa is sealed off after the discovery of a lethal contagion. Teenager Keiichi Maebara and his companions Mion Sonozaki and Rena Ryuuguu find themselves trapped in a place where confusion and fear spread as quickly as the disease. As villagers scramble for solutions, extreme measures emerge and plans form that could endanger lives. Keiichi and his friends seek a way out, but as pressures mount and suspicion grows, they must contend with both visible threats and hidden dangers while struggling to survive.
