Synopsis

In the isolated village of Hinamizawa, Rika Furude and her companions share an outwardly peaceful life that conceals a persistent, sinister presence. Rika, burdened by memories of repeated summers marked by horrific events, experiences the same sequence of tragedies each time the timeline resets. With only partial evidence available, she repeatedly attempts to uncover the perpetrator responsible for the brutal deaths, yet her efforts consistently fall short. As the yearly festival draws near, Rika’s struggle intensifies, and her hope gradually gives way to deeper despair as she fights to free herself and her friends from the relentless cycle of fate.
