Synopsis

Whispers of a scheme aimed at weakening the Shinsengumi by torching their headquarters circulate, originating largely from an inn in Shimabara. The group turns to Chizuru Yukimura, asking her to assume the role of a geisha and slip into the inn to gather information. As Chizuru embeds herself to relay findings, she discovers the situation involves deeper complications than expected. Simultaneously, each Shinsengumi member struggles with unease about relying on their only female associate for covert work; fully aware of the risks she faces, they each commit to guarding her safety at all costs.
