Synopsis

Kenma Kozume views volleyball as a skill rather than a thrill, but when Nekoma High reaches the Spring Nationals they must confront long-time rivals Karasuno. Tasked with dissecting the opposition’s complex and resilient play, Kenma leads Nekoma as they prepare for an official match that carries higher stakes than any practice. The game also reunites him on the court with his friend Shouyou Hinata, Karasuno’s compact yet highly capable middle blocker. Despite Karasuno’s prior inability to best Nekoma in training, the prospect of settling the rivalry in a single, consequential contest stirs a rare spark in Kenma. To progress to the semifinals and reclaim past standing, Karasuno needs to find a way to counter Kenma’s tactical insight and win on Nekoma’s home ground.
