Synopsis

Kodaka Hasegawa transfers to a new school hoping to fit in, but his appearance leads others to mistake him for a violent delinquent and leaves him isolated. After a month of solitude, he encounters Yozora Mikazuki, another loner who speaks to an imaginary companion in an empty classroom. Bonding over their similar experiences of exclusion, they establish the Neighbor's Club, intended for students without friends. The club's activities focus on developing everyday social abilities and learning how to connect with peers. As they are joined by Sena Kashiwazaki, who has an interest in eroge, and a variety of other unusual classmates, Kodaka begins to form genuine relationships among a group of eccentric outsiders.
