Synopsis
In fall 2008, animation studio Gainax unveiled a website announcing a film version of the Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann television series. The project brings back the series' original director alongside the script editor from the show. To mark the announcement, Gainax plans four commemorative events at that year's Tokyo International Anime Fair, which will include appearances by the anime's voice cast.
