Synopsis
One year has elapsed since the events of SSSS.Gridman and a fragile peace has settled. Apart from Rikka and Utsumi, no one retains memories of the kaiju, Gridman, or Akane Shinjou. Yuuta, who once served as Gridman's vessel, finds his recollection of pivotal events erased. When a fresh kaiju emerges, he sees an opportunity to validate himself and reclaim what he has lost by fusing with Gridman again.
