One year has elapsed since the events of SSSS.Gridman and a fragile peace has settled. Apart from Rikka and Utsumi, no one retains memories of the kaiju, Gridman, or Akane Shinjou. Yuuta, who once served as Gridman's vessel, finds his recollection of pivotal events erased.
