Synopsis

The hunt for the lost Ainu treasure intensifies as increasingly dangerous former inmates aim to keep their tattooed hides whole. Saichi "The Immortal" Sugimoto and Asirpa are finally able to continue together, though Asirpa’s experiences with Kiroranke and Ogata Hyakunosuke have subtly changed her goals and reinforced her resolve. Exiting Russian-held lands, their group picks up an unexpected follower. At the same time, Toshizou Hijikata’s unit makes decisive moves to secure priceless skins but walks into a lethal snare set by a treacherous convict. Each faction holds distinct strengths, yet even the formidable First Lieutenant Tokushirou Tsurumi cannot progress without Asirpa’s cooperation; his dark designs for an eventual confrontation remain concealed.
