Synopsis

A thief named Gokudou pilfers what he believes is a jewel from a fortuneteller and instead releases a Djinn from a seemingly ordinary stone. The genie grants the customary three wishes, but Gokudou makes impulsive choices and receives outcomes that diverge from his expectations. Among the results is Honou no Maken, a fire-imbued sword that can be summoned from anywhere and empowers its wielder with flame attacks. Despite this weapon, Gokudou's life grows more chaotic: the Djinn, who can alter form, transforms him into a woman; the persistent fortuneteller repeatedly returns to bedevil him; and Rubette La Late, a spirited figure more drawn to adventure, karaoke, and besting Gokudou than to steady romance, trails him as a potential love interest. Later, Gokudou gains an additional companion, Prince, a reformed dark magician whose looks and courting skill outshine Gokudou's. The series follows the protagonist's misadventures as he navigates unintended wish outcomes, shifting identities, and a motley cast of allies and antagonists.
