Synopsis

Mafuyu Satou, a quiet high schooler who keeps close the Gibson guitar he found, leaves his dim apartment and navigates ordinary school days. A brief rest on the gym stairs leads to an encounter with Ritsuka Uenoyama, who scolds Mafuyu for neglecting the instrument and offers repair and instruction after recognizing his potential. Uenoyama brings Mafuyu into a rehearsal with his bandmates Haruki Nakayama on bass and Akihiko Kaji on drums. Mafuyu’s unexpectedly moving vocal tone inspires Uenoyama to propose he become the group’s vocalist. Initially hesitant, Mafuyu accepts following an emotional reunion with a former friend. As the band members support one another, Mafuyu must develop his guitar skills and face the unresolved mystery surrounding how the guitar came into his possession.
