Synopsis

Set in a near-future era of prosperity enabled by Dr. Shizuma's groundbreaking renewable power, the story follows a fragile peace endangered by an organization called Big Fire that seeks global domination. The International Police Organisation responds by assembling an elite team of superpowered fighters and martial artists alongside Daisaku Kusama, the young heir and operator of the planet's most formidable robot, Giant Robo. When the IPO secures an anomalous Shizuma Drive crucial to Big Fire's scheme, a violent confrontation erupts between the opposing forces. The escalating conflict pushes Daisaku to his limits, gradually exposing a horrific secret connected to the origin of the Shizuma Drive and imperiling human society. Combining character-focused drama with a retro-futuristic aesthetic, the narrative draws on elements of opera, kung-fu cinema, wuxia, and classic mecha storytelling, and while it incorporates figures from Mitsuteru Yokoyama's creations, it functions as an independent tale.
