Synopsis
Edward Elric gave up his body and soul to save his brother Alphonse, only to find himself stranded in the center of Munich, Germany. Confronted with a society altered by the economic fallout after World War I, he faces cultural displacement and the inability to use alchemy to return. Isolated, he continues to seek alternative means of escape, collaborating with associates who resemble faces from his past. As social unrest grows within Germany and tensions spread to neighboring states, Edward persists in his research under difficult circumstances. Meanwhile, Alphonse investigates Edward's disappearance from afar, deepening his study of alchemy and related sciences in pursuit of a way to bring his brother back.
