Synopsis

Set between the events of Free!: Eternal Summer and Free!: Dive to the Future, this collection follows the seniors’ final summer through four linked episodes that capture farewells, transitions, and friendship. In the first story, Haruka Nanase and Makoto Tachibana look for a suitable apartment as Haruka relocates to Tokyo. The second centers on Aiichiro Nitori selecting a graduation gift for Rin Matsuoka and Sousuke Yamazaki; after Momotaro Mikoshiba wins hot spring tickets, he and Aiichiro hope to include Rin and Sousuke in a shared trip. The third vignette follows Rei Ryugazaki, Nagisa Hazuki, and Gou Matsuoka as they produce a recruitment video to draw new members into the swim club for the coming year. The final episode explores the Iwatobi and Samezuka teams preparing a surprise farewell for Rin, who is set to leave for Australia, as everyone faces the changes that follow graduation.
