Synopsis

Takao Kasuga, a high schooler with a deep affinity for poetry and an admiration for Charles Baudelaire, treats verse as central to his identity. After leaving his copy of The Flowers of Evil in class, he returns and impulsively takes the gym uniform of Nanako Saeki, a model student he idealizes as his muse and femme fatale. Overcome by shame and conscious that his act could be judged as both sinful and criminal, Takao is horrified to discover that Sawa Nakamura, an ostracized classmate, witnessed the theft. Sawa exploits this knowledge to coerce Takao into participating in her unsettling schemes, threatening exposure if he refuses. Pulled into a downward spiral of escalating psychological torment, Takao confronts pressure to submit to Sawa's manipulations while seeking a way to escape the cycle and make amends for what he has done.
