Synopsis

In the near future, a civil conflict engulfs a small Asian nation despite UN intervention. A chance battlefield photograph of a flag unexpectedly becomes a rallying symbol that hastens negotiations toward a ceasefire. Just as agreements near completion, an armed extremist faction seizes that very banner to derail the truce. To retrieve the emblem and protect the peace process, the UN deploys its Special Development Command—equipped with the High Agility Versatile Weapon Carrier—and assigns an embedded photojournalist to document the mission. The reporter chosen is Saeko Shirasu, the young camerawoman responsible for the original image, who returns to the contested zone to help recover the stolen symbol and record the operation.
