Synopsis

In a ruined 2016 after the Mage King Solomon destroyed civilization, Chaldea — a covert order charged with safeguarding humanity’s future — initiated Operation Grand Order to mend historical Singularities caused by fractured Holy Grails. Using Rayshift time travel, Chaldea’s remaining master, Ritsuka Fujimaru, together with the demi-servant Mash Kyrielight, has already corrected six such anomalies. Their next assignment takes them to the Age of Gods: B.C. 2655 Mesopotamia. There they find widespread devastation as Demonic Beasts assault settlements and terrorize the countryside. The city of Uruk stands as humanity’s bulwark, a fortress and battlefield under the command of Gilgamesh, the King of Heroes, who has assumed the mantle of a mage and rallied Heroic Spirits to defend his people. Ritsuka and Mash join Gilgamesh and the summoned servants to hold Uruk against the relentless beast attacks and confront the Three Goddess Alliance determined to exterminate humanity, even as an even larger menace stirs, threatening to awaken within Uruk.
