Synopsis

Originally engineered millennia ago to aid humanity in fighting the Honkai, the Equipment: Living Forms—ELFs—eventually gained self-awareness and were regarded almost as equals. After the Ninth Herrscher devastated the planet, most ELFs disappeared into the Sea of Quanta. In an alternate bubble universe, however, their story diverges: ELFs coexist peacefully with people and enroll at ELF Academy, experiencing everyday school life. Characters range from Selune Elegy's dramatic, chuunibyou behavior to Blood Embrace's rough, 'gangster' antics, and the academy's tranquil routine offers a contrast to the bleak fate that befell them in the original reality.
