Synopsis

A modest bartender decides to assume the identity of a notorious, well-dressed strongman rumored to dominate Ikebukuro. He adopts the man's blond hair and outward style, believing the disguise will let him manipulate others and simplify his life. Initially he thinks he can deceive the neighborhood, but locals react with a mix of mockery and sympathy, and the real man’s presence looms. Tension escalates when an enigmatic information dealer, whose pastime is to unsettle that strongman, intervenes and intensifies the situation. The story follows the impersonator’s uneasy experiment with a borrowed persona amid the district’s charged social dynamics.
