Synopsis

Although the assault on Verlina was pushed back, the conflict endures. Monster legions are gathering strength once more while the Black King consolidates control over territories already seized. Across Orte, fresh clashes flare up as the remaining human forces attempt to maintain order and govern populations of demi-humans who have long been subjugated. The Ends increase in strength day by day, and Toyohisa Shimazu remains unconscious following the serious injuries he sustained during the battle at Verlina. Surrounded by threats on multiple fronts, humanity’s survival hangs in a precarious balance.
