Decades ago on Planet Vegeta, the ruling monarch perceived a newborn named Broly whose hidden strength eclipsed that of his heir. Fearing the threat this power posed to his son, the king banished Broly to the barren world of Vampa. Broly's father, Paragus, followed with the aim of retrieving him, but their vessel was impaired and they remained stranded for years, surviving in isolation until an unexpected rescuer would later alter their fate. Meanwhile on Earth, Goku and Prince Vegeta, regarded as the remaining Saiyan warriors, continue disciplined training on a secluded isle. Their routine is disrupted when Frieza reappears, prompting a quest for the final Dragon Ball on a frigid continent. There Frieza reveals two new companions: Paragus and Broly, who has since become immensely formidable. Confrontation erupts as Goku and Vegeta must contend with Broly's overwhelming power and mounting fury, leading to a monumental clash with far-reaching consequences.
