Synopsis

Ramune appears unprofessional—blunt, coarse, and frequently indifferent—but reveals exceptional diagnostic skill when patients arrive. He confronts an assortment of strange, uncanny maladies, from a student whose fingers have transformed into chili peppers to a child whose tears take the form of condiments. Drawing on a peculiar, almost otherworldly perceptiveness, Ramune uncovers the underlying causes of these afflictions. Securing an effective remedy, however, exacts a significant cost that cannot be settled with money.
