Synopsis

The city-state of Lisvalletta confronts a grave danger from a new drug called Anthem. This substance triggers an Overdrive state, transforming users into monstrous beings with enhanced abilities. As conventional police forces prove ineffective, the Special Crime Investigation Unit SEVEN-O takes on the responsibility. Their operations utilize a "Double Decker" system, pairing investigators in "buddy cop" teams to mitigate risks. Kirill Vrubel, an average police officer with a lifelong dream of heroism, finds his opportunity when an unusual errand leads him into a confrontation with an Anthem user during a hostage situation. His unexpected partnership with SEVEN-O detective Douglas "Doug" Bilingam secures his place as the newest member of the unit. Within this specialized organization, Kirill now strives to realize his aspiration of becoming a hero.
