When Nobita uncovers a fossilized dinosaur egg, he and Doraemon use futuristic gadgets to bring it to life and care for the hatchling. Aware they cannot keep the creature in their era, Nobita prepares to return it to its original time, only to learn that time-traveling hunters threaten the ancient ecosystem. To prevent harm to the dinosaurs, Doraemon and his friends follow the trail into the prehistoric past, embarking on an adventure that mixes caretaking, farewell, and confrontation as they strive to defend the lost world from the hunters' interference.
