This production revisits the 1982 Doraemon feature Nobita's Great Demon in a contemporary adaptation. The remake follows the same core narrative conceived by Fujiko F. Fujio, one of Doraemon's original co-creators, preserving the story's original themes and emotional tone while presenting them through updated filmmaking. It retains the source material’s essence and character-driven focus without altering the fundamental plot established in the 1982 film.
