Synopsis

Cinque Izumi, Nanami Takatsuki, and Rebecca Anderson return to the continent of Flonyard to take part in the amicable war games held among three allied nations: the Biscotti Republic, Galette, and Pastillage. Cinque serves as Biscotti’s champion and is cousins with Galette’s hero, Nanami, while Rebecca represents Pastillage and shares a close friendship with Cinque. Events open with Rebecca packing in Japan for her trip back to Pastilage, and Cinque and Nanami journeying from England toward Biscotti and Galette. Their voyage is disrupted by an unforeseen streak of bad luck—manifested as lightning—which diverts them into the vast Dragon Forest. There they encounter Sharu, a Dragon Priestess who reveals that demons are threatening to overrun the forest and, potentially, the entire continent of Flonyard. As the friendly contests give way to a far graver danger, the three heroes are faced with the challenge of confronting this emerging demonic menace to protect the people and lands of Flonyard.
