Synopsis

In the alternate realm of Flonyard, humanoid inhabitants bear animal ears and tails. The dog-affiliated Republic of Biscotti faces aggression from the cat-aligned Galette Leo Knights. To protect her nation, Princess Millhiore calls a champion from another world: Cinque Izumi, an ordinary junior high student from Earth. Cinque accepts, retrieves a sacred armament known as the Palladion, and joins Biscotti’s forces. Conflict in Flonyard takes the form of nonlethal battles that resemble sporting contests and aim to raise funds for the realms involved. Cinque proves effective as Biscotti’s champion, but discovers summoned heroes cannot be immediately returned home. Biscotti’s researchers work to find a way to send him back, yet until a solution is reached, Cinque remains bound to serve Princess Millhiore and continue fighting on behalf of Biscotti.
