Synopsis

After Meicoomon's unexpected betrayal, the Chosen Children struggle with shock and urgency. Meiko Mochizuki copes with her partner's turn, while Koushirou Izumi works to identify the infection manipulating Meicoomon. Takeru Takaishi grows alarmed as Patamon begins to show signs similar to those affecting other Digimon. A message from the enigmatic Homeostasis declares both their world and the Digital World at risk; Homeostasis intends to initiate a Reboot to purge the infection by resetting all Digital World data. That reset would also strip away the memories and relationships shared between Digimon and their human partners. With time running out, the Chosen Children must confront whether they can halt Meicoomon's descent and prevent the Reboot, or face the loss of their companions' shared memories.
