Synopsis

The Di Gi Charat Natsuyasumi Special is a four-episode anime series that premiered from August 2 to August 3, 2001, approximately a year after the original series. This installment introduces Rodoyan, a young American otaku. The initial two episodes detail Puchiko's unintended trip to America. After an incident on a bus where she was unable to signal her stop, the driver continued until reaching the United States. There, an American admirer of Dejiko, Rod Young, provides her with accommodation. Dejiko subsequently receives an invitation from Rod to visit America, enabling her to retrieve Puchiko. The third episode transitions to Akihabara, where Dejiko resolves to enter a band competition. The primary incentive is a ten-year supply of nattou, her preferred food, though she must first gather band members and instruments. The concluding episode follows Dejiko and her associates from Gamers on an excursion to the mountains. As evening approaches, individuals within their group begin to disappear mysteriously.
