Synopsis

Near Hachijō-jima, an offshore platform called Pacific Buoy hosts an international team installing a network of police surveillance cameras and running trials of a new facial-recognition technology. Conan and the Detective Boys travel to the island at Sonoko’s invitation, and while there they learn from Subaru Okiya that a Europol staffer was killed in Germany by Jin of the Black Organization. Troubled, Conan covertly enters the facility and discovers that a female engineer has been abducted by the Organization, and that a USB drive containing crucial data in her possession has fallen into their hands. At the same time, Ai Haibara finds herself being watched by a menacing presence tied to the same conspiracy.
