Synopsis

During Halloween in Shibuya, a wedding at Shibuya Hikarie turns violent when an attacker bursts in while Sato stands in bridal attire. Takagi is wounded while shielding her; though he survives and the immediate danger is contained, Sato is shaken as the killer’s presence recalls the grim image she once associated with Jinpei Matsuda, who died in a string of bombings three years earlier. Concurrently, the prisoner responsible for those bombings breaks free. Rei Furuya, also known as Tōru Amuro and serving in public security, pursues the fugitive who killed his former classmate, but a disguised assailant appears and fastens a collar explosive to Amuro. Conan goes to the underground safe location where Amuro is holed up to attempt to remove the device, and there learns of an encounter three years prior in Shibuya involving Amuro and other now-deceased police academy classmates with an unidentified online bomber called “Plamya.” As Conan and his allies dig into the case, an unsettling threat begins to cast a shadow over their investigation.
