Synopsis

During public naval maneuvers in Maizuru Bay—near where an unidentified foreign vessel was recently seen—Conan Edogawa, Ran Mouri, Kogorou Mouri, Sonoko Suzuki, and the Detective Boys are present as observers. Amid the exercises, a crewman discovers a lieutenant’s detached left arm, and Conan uncovers evidence suggesting a foreign agent has boarded the warship to seize sensitive military material. If such intelligence is leaked, Japan’s defensive posture could be compromised. Coordinating with maritime police while other friends probe events ashore, Conan works to prevent a national security breach and to identify the infiltrator before more damage is done.
