Fifteen years earlier, a cruise liner vanished in a remote part of the Pacific after colliding with an iceberg. Years later, ship engineer Hideto Yashiro dies in a car crash. These incidents remain separate until the launch voyage of the luxury vessel St. Aphrodite, where connections begin to surface. Kogorou Mouri, his daughter Ran, Conan Edogawa, and the Detective Boys are on board for a vacation arranged by Sonoko Suzuki’s family. Their leisure is interrupted when a hide-and-seek game results in Sonoko’s disappearance. Subsequently, the Yashiro group’s CEO—the company responsible for building the St. Aphrodite—is discovered fatally stabbed and her father is missing. Police inquiries stall, but Conan edges closer to identifying the perpetrator. Refusing capture, the assailant threatens to detonate the ship, risking the lives of all passengers. As water floods the hull and options narrow, the motive behind the killings tied to old sea tragedy comes to light. With escape impossible, Conan and Kogorou confront the elusive attacker in a race to prevent the ship from sinking and save those aboard.
