Synopsis

After a threatening note from the phantom thief Kaitou Kid, celebrated actress Juri Maki asks private investigator Kogorou Mouri to guard the Star Sapphire, a gem tied to faith, destiny, and hope. Convinced he has unraveled Kid’s clue, Kogorou appears at a newly opened space theater where Juri performs in the production Josephine, intending to confront the thief. Following what seems like a foiled heist and a successful run of the play, Juri invites Conan and his friends to her retreat to mark the occasion. That trip is shattered when a homicide occurs during the flight to the holiday home. The fatal incident, though not deliberate in its wider consequences, triggers a chain reaction whose impact grows increasingly dire. Forced into an uneasy cooperation, Conan and Kaitou Kid must combine their skills to protect their companions and everyone aboard the airplane as the situation escalates toward catastrophe.
