Synopsis

Umio, a withdrawn young man, takes a part-time position at a manga shop located in the heart of the city. Though the urban nights glow with vivid lights, his everyday life is quiet and modest. His closest companions are his fellow employees—an eccentric but kind group who each bring distinct habits and personalities. They form a close-knit circle, exchange informal nicknames, and spend their weekends indoors, preferring the calm of the shop and each other's company to the ostentatious bustle beyond its doors.
