Synopsis

Set on Hatsunejima five decades after earlier events, this installment revisits the island beneath the persistent sakura blossoms. Though echoes of past figures can be recognized by attentive viewers, the narrative centers on a new generation. Protagonist Yoshiyuki Sakurai moves in beside the Asakura sisters, Yume and Otome, who are the grandchildren of Junichi and Nemu from the original timeline. The series follows their interactions and relationships on an island shaped by history and lingering ties to those who came before.
