Synopsis

Shidou Itsuka, already seasoned by many trials with Ratatoskr, finds his routine interrupted when he helps a hungry woman collapsed on the street. She leads him to her residence and reveals her identity as Nia Honjou, a well-known manga creator using a pseudonym. Nia then discloses that she is a Spirit and knows about Shidou’s clandestine missions. Curious to observe his personal appeal, she proposes a date as a trial for him to win her favor. As Shidou seeks an opening to seal her abilities, he uncovers more about Nia’s past connections to Deus Ex Machina Industries, an organization he recognizes all too well. The encounter shifts his ongoing responsibilities into a personal test that ties into a wider, familiar threat.
